Full-screen console apps render properly — not as garbled text.
SSH with passwords or Ed25519/RSA keys. Host-key verification warns you if a server's key ever changes. Multiple live sessions you can minimise and pick back up.
A full SFTP browser over the same connection — no extra setup. Large files stream in chunks, so a big transfer won't exhaust memory on a phone.
Local and remote port forwarding. Host groups pass credentials down to their members, so a dozen boxes is one piece of setup rather than twelve.
An AI assistant that is off by default and needs your own API key. It names the provider about to receive your terminal output before anything is sent.
Why it exists. None of the free iPhone terminals did what I wanted: vim, htop and tmux all came out garbled. Pockterm renders them properly, keeps your keys in the iOS Keychain, and asks nothing of you in return — no account to create, nothing to subscribe to.
